Dunedin,South Island New Zealand, certainly has a Scottish feel to it from the look of the houses to the tartan incorporated in some school uniforms!

The sightseeing tour of Dunedin by bus is well worth the effort. There is plenty to see and the ticket very reasonably priced. The tour is leisurely, takes in historic buildings: Olveston House (very much an Edwardian time capsule, circa early 1900's, and totally fascinating; Dunedin Railway Station, the Court House and prison with their distinctive architectural style.

Plus the university, which is clearly the heartbeat of the city, and - what a treat - Cadbury's Chocolate Factory (click here for picture) !Take the excellent guided tour and in true Cadbury fashion come away with a bag full of goodies !
